For reals.

I don't know. Marvel could use a shake up. I imagine most of the people I know are crying about this but I don't hate Disney. Maybe, just maybe, this could be GOOD for the Marvel Girls -- there's this new toy, Handful of Heroes, and of the 40 possible heroes you can get, guess how many are female? That's right, ZERO. I find that honestly more offensive than happily ever after and princess merchandise, but The Last Unicorn taught me nothing ever ends and my daughter loves both princesses and Batgirl. Anyway, my point is that if Disney knows anything it's marketing.

Also, this confirms the belief that Hannah Montana is secretly an X-Men.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02405019346861244737noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-489915595496337926.post-21030085761228427262011-01-14T13:18:11.273-05:002011-01-14T13:18:11.273-05:00@Magnet Girl - Oh, I don't think I properly ex...@Magnet Girl - Oh, I don't think I properly expressed my feelings on these two companies. I prefer Disney to Marvel. I love Disney. I want to get married in Disneyworld. I understand all the bad messages they send to young children, process them, and love them anyway. I love them despite their rampant capitalism and commercialism (two things I'm not a fan of), and I think as long as there are parents out there like my mom, or like you, who can balance these messages then that's okay. And I'd certainly rather see Marvel do better by women. A baby step is still a step.

I'm actually not allowed to speak about Hannah Montana.
